John Fisher (President) has been involved in the musical world for most of his life. With almost 20 years of experience as a performer in genres ranging from hard rock to bluegrass, John combines his extensive knowledge of the business with an artist’s perspective. His creativity and general resourcefulness are a natural extension of the Big Entertainment philosophy. He hopes to help other ambitious artists achieve their musical goals and build lasting careers living their dreams.
Jason "Gib" Gibson (Booking Agent) founded Big Entertainment after working in numerous roles throughout the music industry. He paid his dues as manager of Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, lived on the road as tour manager of Barefoot Manner, and co-founded Blue Ridge Entertainment Agency. He has advised dozens of bands in the areas of marketing, booking, merchandising and accounting. Being on the road 20+ days a month taught Jason the ins and outs of being involved with popular touring acts and the venues they play. He realized that bands would benefit from an entertainment company that offered coordinated services under one roof and one philosophy.
Will Bradford (Venue Talent Buyer) is a man of many talents, having held a wide variety of music industry roles both onstage and off. He’s tackled publicity, promotions and booking for several indie labels and production companies including Naked Ear Records and Harmonized Records, working with clients such as Nils Lofgren, Burning Spear and Disco Biscuits. Will is also an accomplished musician, leading his own nationally touring band SeepeopleS alongside producing and playing on numerous records for other bands.
Anna Johnston (Booking Agent) found her love for music at Appalachian State University in the mountains of Boone, NC. She reached her stride as an employee at Downtown Event Center in Raleigh, NC acting as stage manager for multi-band events. Her successes soon led her to the role of Talent Buyer. She now lends her talents to the Big Entertainment team as head of the Talent Buying Booking Division, booking events with colleges, festivals, art councils, and other private events.
Aubrey Ross Weston (Talent Buyer / Event Planner) has combined her keen business sense with her love of music at Big Entertainment. Her extensive background in sales, marketing, design and management has spanned the art, fashion and music scenes. Her creativity and attention to detail make her the perfect fit for your talent buying and event planning needs. She is also available for styling and set design consultations.
Jason Beckwit (Band IT / Website Design) has dedicated over a decade to becoming a computer guru of many aspects. With a lifelong passion for music, Jason never discovered any talents as a musician, but always wanted to be a part of the industry. Through his knowledge of technology, his knack for internet creativity, and his passion for music, Jason has made his way into the music business, creating websites and providing IT Support for Big Entertainment, as well as many of the artists on our roster. |
